SFTP lets PanelForge read and edit your server's files — nothing to install.
1. In your host's panel (e.g. Pterodactyl), find your SFTP details: host, port, username and password.
2. In PanelForge open your server → Settings → "Hosting file access (SFTP)".
3. Enter the host, port, username and password, then set the Game.ini path. Most hosts drop you in your server root, so it's usually one of:
• TheIsle/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini (Linux hosts)
• TheIsle/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/Game.ini (Windows hosts)
4. Click Save, then "Test connection". Once connected, the Config, DinoStorage and Incidents tabs unlock.
Tip: not sure of the path? Click "Browse files" to navigate your server and click Game.ini to set it automatically.
Your password is stored encrypted and is never shown again.
